Ruairi Holyoake: Thought Leader in Waste Management

Ruairi Holyoake, Group Operations Manager at Greyhound Recycling was put forward as a Thought Leader in his field by some of his colleagues. On March 12th 2019 in Croke Park he was honoured among some very high caliber companies at the prestigious Business All Star Accreditation ceremony.

Ruairi is an experienced manager with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental services industry. Skilled in Waste, Operations Management, Environmental Compliance, Commercials, and Carbon Management. Strong professional with a CIWEM Post Graduate diploma focused in Water, Energy and Environment from Liverpool John Moores University. Since joining the Greyhound Recycling Group Ruairi has excelled in his career delivering results to our customers through continuous innovation and a desire to lead by example. He has been involved in many characterisation studies which have helped to steer the recycling industry in a new direction.

Having submitted the application, supported by references, interviews and independent ratings from the ‘mystery shopper’ process left the adjudication panel in no doubt that Ruairi was richly deserving of this accreditation.

Having received this recognition is huge for me personally and for the recycling industry. It represents the positive changes within the waste management sector and I am happy to provide my expertise in the area in any way possible to all Business All Star Accredited companies.
