Big thanks to Amy who flipped the frying pan for 4 hours making over 60 pancakes for the office staff.

Needless to say they didn’t last too long!

Pancake Tuesday

Did you know that pancakes are associated with the day preceding Lent because they were a way to use up rich foods such as eggs, milk, and sugar?

This tradition (or a version of it) is celebrated in countries across the world – from Iceland to Australia!

Although it has long been associated with the Christian custom of Lent, Pancake Tuesday was originally thought to be a pagan holiday, observed to mark the change in seasons. With such a long and widely acknowledged history we think it would be rude not to :0)
