Greyhound Household were delighted to be able help residents in Jobstown over the weekend by organising a skip for a Community Clean Up Day!

Did you know that Jobstown was once a small rural farming community? It is situated three kilometers from Tallaght village, close to the western foothills of the Dublin Mountains. The censuses of 1901 and 1911 showed that the population was low and consisted mostly of farmers. The only landmark in the area at the time was the Jobstown House. Today, it is a recently developed, densely populated suburb. Notable people from the Tallaght area include the writer Katherine Tynan and footballers Richie Baker and Robbie Keane.*

The residents managed to spare a second for a photo with Greyhound Household’s Customer Experience Officer, Iosach!

Greyhound Household are proud to be involved in the local and wider Dublin community, regularly providing skips for community clean up days.
