Line your kitchen caddy with newspaper to stop food sticking and to absorb any excess liquids.

Alternatively you can purchase compostable bags such as ‘Greensax‘ or ‘Biobags’ at your local supermarket if you don’t want to use (or don’t have any) newspaper.

Rinse your kitchen caddy out occasionally with warm water and a detergent to stop bacteria and odours developing. We would advise that you have your brown bin power washed regularly and an outdoor cleaner with an anti bacterial agent is used.
