RECYCLING FROM THE BATHROOM

Your bathroom is awash with recyclables.

We all use toiletries and bathroom cleaners on a daily basis and our bathrooms are packed full of stuff that can be recycled after we’ve finished with it. The great news is, most people are doing just that, but there’s always room to recycle more.

We’ve drawn up a handy list of the top 10 items that can (and should) be recycled from the bathroom.

The top 10 list of bathroom recyclables

Shampoo bottles

Conditioner bottles

Shower gel and bubble bath bottles

Cardboard boxes e.g. toothpaste or soap boxes

Toilet roll tubes

Bathroom cleaner and bleach bottles

Hand soap bottles (but remember you can’t recycle the pump dispenser)

Moisturiser bottles

Deodorant lids

Cotton Bud Containers

Top tips:

Squash your bottles.

Reuse pump dispensers were possible.

Hang a bag on the back of the door – perfect if you are short on space. This also makes recycling super easy.

Worried about clutter? Clear a shelf in your bathroom press to hide your empties. Then do a sweep of each room before your recycling day.
