Dublin Christmas Tree Recycling 2020

Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council, South Dublin County Council & DLR County Council have made arrangements for you to leave your Christmas Tree at many locations around the city.

South Dublin County Council

South Dublin County Council arrangements for you to leave your Christmas Tree for recycling at 21 locations in the county from Thursday 2 January to Saturday 11 January 2020. This service is free and is for domestic household trees only.

Signage will be placed at the various locations indicating that it is an official recycling point. For a list of locations near you please visit

Fingal County Council will be accepting Christmas Trees for recycling at the following Collection Points from January 1-15, 2020

Please note that only Christmas trees will be accepted at the above locations, other green waste, Christmas tree stands, etc. will not be accepted.
