St. Patricks Estate is Clondalkin’s Tidiest Estate 2017

St. Patricks has been awarded Clondalkin’s tidiest estate in a summer competition organised by Clondalkin Tidy Towns committee and Greyhound Recycling. The winner receives a €500 prize and a free skip to use to enhance common areas. St. Patrick’s will also receive a winner’s plaque for the entrance to the estate.

Clondalkin Tidy Towns said :

” We were amazed by the efforts made by all the competing estates. A special mention should also go to Monastery, which was a close second, and Kilcronan who impressed the judges by painting all the gate pillars in the estate a sparkling white! This is an important competition for Clondalkin as it will enable us to continue to rise through the ranks in the National Tidy Town’s competition. We hope the estate competition will become an annual event”

Greyhound Group Managing Director, John Brosnan said:

” It is gratifying to see the pride people take in their community. We have worked with Clondalkin Tidy Towns for a number of years now and we see the hard work they put in. They have made great strides in the National Tidy Towns competition in recent years and the estates competition should help them rank even higher this year. A large number of our staff live in the area, so we are happy and proud to sponsor events like this. As recognition for all the estates that entered, skips will be available for each estate at half price for clean-ups of common areas.”
