Our New Pricing Structure
From 1st October the new pricing structure for Standard Household Customers is as follows:
- An Annual Service Charge of €60
- 31 cent per kilo for black bin waste
- 24 cent per kilo for brown bin waste
- Green bin waste is free of charge
Customers who pay Greyhound’s €60 Annual Service Charge will receive a bar coded Green Bin ID label, which must be affixed to the Green Bin to ensure collection.
Customer Savings
Customers who pay Greyhound’s €60 Annual Charge can make the following pay-by-weight savings on their black, brown and green bins:
Black Bin
- Collections are charged on a pay by weight basis only – there is no minimum lift fee
- Black bin waste is charged at 31 cent per kilo
- Example based on a bin weighing 20kg:
- 20kg x 31c = €6.20 for this collection
Brown Bin
- Collections are charged on a pay by weight basis only – there is no minimum lift fee
- Brown bin waste is charged at 24 cent per kilo
- Example based on a bin weighing 20kg:
- 20kg x 24c = €4.80 for this collection
Green Bin
- Green bin waste is free of charge to customers who have paid the Annual Service Charge
- Customers receive 26 green bin lifts per year

Customers can pay by the usual methods as follows:
- Online by credit card and laser card at www.greyhound.ie
- By phone on 1890 929 333
- At the post office and local shops
Greyhound's policy of not collecting bins from customers whose accounts are below zero credit will be strictly applied.
